Inverawe Native Gardens is a 22 acre garden winding around the shores of North West Bay, just 15 minutes south of Hobart CBD. Inverawe enjoys spectacular views to North Bruny Island and features thousands of Australian native plants in a landscaped setting. Meet the garden’s makers, sip tea on the terrace, drink in the view, capture a moment of tranquillity and catch the delicate fragrances of a truly Australian garden. Tread where the French explorers and pioneer botanists trod, 200 years ago. Listen to the chatter of birds. 102 species have been seen at Inverawe. Sculpture, poetry, and interpretation signs enhance the experience.”
