Sat 12th October 2019

Please join us again on Saturday 12th October when the Wynyard community and surrounds celebrates spring with the Bloomin’ Tulips Festival along the banks of the Inglis River.  Richard Gutteridge Gardens provides the picturesque backdrop for a colourful and exciting day which culminates with a fireworks display just after dark.

Garden beds around the town are bursting with colourful tulips while on nearby Table Cape the Tulip Farm is welcoming visitors.  Fields of vibrant tulips entice one to walk along the long rows and savour the experience.

Live entertainment all day, roving performers like the giant animal and flower  stilt walkers, provide delights for the whole family.  Over thirty food and beverage stalls cater for all tastes while a similar number of community and craft groups provide an insight into activities happening in Waratah-Wynyard all year round.

Take time to visit venues around the town from the Table Cape Tulip Farm to the Foreshore Market at East Wynyard.   These include French’s Road Nature Reserve open day, Lighthouse Film Society Films, Songs of Praise to the Fish the Cam for seniors and sporting events.

The Waratah-Wynyard Council would like to acknowledge that the Festival is only made possible through the generous support of sponsors, volunteers and community attendance of previous Festivals over 24 years.
